At a press conference this Thursday, Alvaro Arbeloa addressed several key topics. The coach also spoke about the possibility of Real Madrid finishing the season empty-handed.
After their 1-0 defeat to Getafe on Monday in La Liga, Real Madrid now trail leaders Barcelona by four points. With Los Blancos having already been beaten in the Spanish Super Cup and knocked out of the Copa del Rey, is Madrid boss Alvaro Arbeloa worried about ending the season without silverware? His answer is a clear no.
"That question again? You too? You’re all so optimistic! No… no… that’s not it… To be honest, I’m only thinking about the match against Celta Vigo. That’s the only thing on my mind right now, the only thing I’m focused on. That’s what I’ll be working on with my players. And I’m not thinking about anything else," the coach shared on Thursday.
