The Ravens rarely move away from their organizational philosophy, but on Friday night, Baltimore parted ways with two first-round picks to acquire All-Pro pass rusher Maxx Crosby. In a blockbuster move that'll alter the NFL landscape, the Ravens trade the No. 14 overall pick in April's NFL draft, and a first-round pick in 2027, in order to land the high-motor defensive end.
After only registering 30 sacks last season and hiring Jesse Minter, the Ravens went all out to land an absolute terror off the edge for opposing quarterbacks. A high-motor, high-character player, Crosby is dominant in every facet of the game. Crosby, a 2019 fourth-round pick by the Raiders, has developed into one of the best pass rushers in the league. In Crosby's seven seasons with the Silver & Black, the five-time Pro Bowler has recorded 69.5 sacks, 133 tackles for loss, 164 QB hits, and one interception in 110 career games.
Here's how the All-Pro pass rusher immediately reshapes Baltimore's edge defender depth chart and rotation heading into the 2026 season.

In that same time stamp, Baltimore had had two edge rushers accumulate 10 or more sacks in a season: Kyle Van Noy (12.5 in 2024) and Odafe Oweh (10 in 2024).

Green got off to a slow start, but eventually found his footing down the stretch. Overall, Green played 713 snaps, finishing with a 46.3 grade from PFF, 3.5 sacks, 19 pressures, and 14 quarterback hits. Entering last season, Robinson was considered a key component of the Ravens' defense and recorded two sacks in his first four games before suffering a broken foot. Robinson has built a reputation as a dependable run stopper and will enter this offseason looking to secure a new deal.
