Everyone knows Tyler Linderbaum is going to get paid as the top free agent center on the market.
But the rumors surrounding the former Baltimore Ravens' star may be about to hit a new gear.
That's because of Cade Mays.
Mays is a center from the Carolina Panthers who signed Monday with the Detroit Lions in free agency.
Why does that matter? Because there were really only two starting-caliber free agent centers available.
Mays was one. He's off the market.
Linderbaum was the other. He was already the top dog, and now there are more teams that need a center than there are legitimate centers available.
The former Raven will have his pick of the options, and he'll almost be able to just name his own salary.

Linderbaum was a first-round pick by the Ravens in 2022 out of Iowa and has lived up to expectations.
Now, he's set to depart town. Maybe he'll follow John Harbaugh to the Giants.
Just know that wherever he goes, he's going to secure a serious bag.
