Baltimore Ravens star running back Derrick Henry is 32 years old and he's spent the last 10 seasons dominating defenses.

Give his age and years of usage, questions about how much longer Henry plans to play are natural.

Derrick Henry not thinking about retirement heading into 2026 NFL season​

However, Henry made it clear that he's not even thinking about retirement heading into his 11th NFL season.

"I don't try to enter another season thinking about retiring and have that on my mind. That's not even my mindset. My mindset is how can I get better, so we can be the best team we can be. I haven't thought about retirement at all," Henry said.

"I love the game and once I feel like that love is gone, then I'll hang it up," Henry said. "But I'm just focused on getting better."

Given how productive Henry still was last season, there's no real reason for him to consider retirement at this point in time. Henry was second in the entire NFL in rushing yards last season with 1,595. He was also second in the league with 16 rushing touchdowns.

The year before he tallied 1,921 rushing yards and another 16 touchdowns. In other words, Henry remains one of the most elite, and productive, runners in the NFL, despite his advancing age.
