The Kansas City Chiefs' offense took a major hit last season when Rashee Rice went down with a knee injury. After colliding with quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Rice suffered a torn lateral collateral ligament in his right knee.
After the injury, the Chiefs' passing game was not quite as dynamic. Rice will be back in 2025 and will be looking to pick up where he left off.
During the 2024 season in the four games he did play, Rice caught 24 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns. He was well on his way to a big-time year.
This week, Kansas City received a great update from the 25-year-old wide receiver.
As shared by Dov Kleiman on X, a new vide of Rice shows him looking explosive and back at work. He appears ready to get the 2025 NFL season started.
Rice has the talent and potential to be a legitimate No. 1 wide receiver. In his rookie season, the former SMU wideout caught 79 passes for 938 yards and seven touchdowns.

There are still questions about Rice's legal status after being involved in an auto accident that happened during an alleged street race. That incident happened back on March 30 of 2024.
To this point in time, the Chiefs have been seemingly optimistic about the outcome of his legal matters.
Only time will tell, but Rice is looking healthy once again and ready to get back to being one of Mahomes' favorite weapons during the 2025 NFL season.
