At the 2026 World Cup, Brazil is looking to reach a ninth consecutive quarterfinals. The team didn't get the start it hoped for vs. Morocco, but on Friday, Brazil was looking back on track in group stage action.

Taking on Haiti, Matheus Cunha gave his team a 2-0 advantage, scoring twice in the first half. But the excitement of those goals was short-lived when one of Brazil's biggest stars walked off the pitch with an apparent injury.

With Neymar still recovering from his own injury, this time, it was Raphinha's whose status was put into doubt.

Here's the latest on Raphinha after he left Friday's match.

They did not give a severity or timeline for his recovery. You’d think he’s very likely done for the World Cup, but the fact he will stay with the team does hint they think he could maybe return

JUNE 19
It wasn't fully clear when Raphinha began dealing with his injury concern, outside of running during the match, but around the 39th minute vs. Haiti, he was seen grimacing on the pitch and received treatment.

It appeared to be a hamstring injury, as Fox's broadcast noted — an ailment that can be extremely tricky and would complicate his World Cup status. Color commentator Landon Donovan said that it's an injury that could take "7-to-10 days" minimum, and often more.

After being looked at for a moment, Raphinha stood up, then walked off the pitch, ending his night. He was replaced by Rayan.

Raphinha left Friday's World Cup match vs. Haiti with an apparent injury, seen in some pain and crouching on the pitch before being subbed out.

Considering Brazil already had built a lead by that point, able to take command of the Group C standings with a win, it also may have been precautionary.

For now, however, there aren't many details on Raphinha's potential injury.
