Ranking the Titans’ 5 projected wide receivers from best to worst

The Tennessee Titans‘ passing offense ranked 30th in the league last season, averaging 166.1 yards per game. It was a collective issue on offense, with the wide receivers, offensive line, and play-calling deserving the majority of blame for the lack of success. That’s precisely why Mike Borgonzi made major offseason changes at wide receiver (and across the coaching staff).

The Titans drafted Carnell Tate and signed Wan’Dale Robinson. Elsewhere, they’re relying on offensive coordinator Brian Daboll to drastically improve the aerial attack. Also taking Cam Ward’s sophomore growth into consideration, we’ve ranked the Titans’ projected top five wide receivers from best to worst.

Carnell Tate​

The Titans drafted Tate at No. 4 overall to be Ward’s go-to playmaker for years to come. His combination of explosiveness and savvy route running could make him the passing offense’s primary read on most dropbacks in 2026. Tate could be in-line for an Offensive Rookie of the Year season.

Wan’Dale Robinson​

Robinson is an easy projection into the offense because he played four seasons for Brian Daboll with the New York Giants. Expect Robinson to be the Titans’ most targeted receiver as he’s such a reliable and detailed route runner underneath the coverage. He’ll be Ward’s security blanket in the short and intermediate areas.

Chimere Dike​

We’re projecting Chimere Dike to eventually take over as the primary No. 3 receiver. The rookie All-Pro as a special teamer flashed serious upside as a receiver down the stretch of 2025. Dike has legitimate juice as an explosive downfield threat and route runner.

Calvin Ridley​

Calvin Ridley is an unknown commodity for the Titans heading into the 2026 campaign. He’s a former 1,000-yard receiver who is coming off a serious injury at his advancing age. It would be a huge bonus for the Titans if Ridley recaptured his previous effectiveness, but it’s a good thing they’re not totally relying on it happening.

Elic Ayomanor​

Elic Ayomanor must compete for reps as a sophomore. He’s a red-zone threat and good blocker. Those two attributes could get him onto the field with Tate and Robinson in certain personnel packages. Securing reps over Dike and Ridley won’t come easy, but he’s certainly capable.
