Last season, the Pittsburgh Steelers easily had the most brutal schedule in the NFL. The back half, in particular, was a gauntlet of games that included both teams that played in the Super Bowl. The NFL schedule makers lighten up on the Steelers some this season, which is fortunate since the team isn't as good as last season.

We went through the entire schedule and ranked the five toughest games on the schedule from easiest to hardest.

5 - Week 1 - vs New York Jets

The Steelers kick off the season against Justin Fields and the Jets and while we don't worry as much about the Jets offense, that Jets defense is going to bring the heat on an unknown offense.

4 - Week 8 - vs Green Bay Packers

The Packers have continued to upgrade and if Aaron Rodgers is on the Steelers, this game will have added pressure for both sides.

3 - Week 7 - @Cincinnati Bengals

Playing the explosive Bengals on the road is a nightmare matchup for the Steelers.

2 - Week 14 - @baltimore Ravens

Basically, what I said about playing the Bengals on the road applies to playing the Ravens on the road just as well.

1 - Week 13 - vs Buffalo Bills

The Bills are our early pick to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl this season, so it makes sense that this is the toughest game on the Steelers schedule.
