The Texas Rangers have activated Cole Winn from the 15 day injured list, the team announced today. The Rangers optioned reliever Luis Curvelo to AAA Round Rock yesterday, so no corresponding move was necessary today to make room for Winn on the active roster.

Winn has a 5.59 ERA in 19.1 innings over 22 appearances this season, although with a 4.77 xERA and 3.99 FIP. He will presumably move back into the middle relief role he was handling before he went on the injured list.

The Rangers’ bullpen currently consists of:

Robbie Ahlstrom

Tyler Alexander

Jalen Beeks

Peyton Gray

Jakob Junis

Jacob Latz

Cal Quantrill

Cole Winn

Chris Martin is on the 15 day injured list and Robert Garcia is on the 60 day injured list, and it does not appear that they will be activated in the immediate future. Should the Rangers need to add a bullpen arm, Curvelo, as well as Gavin Collyer, would be the top choices available in the minors.
