Rams WR Puka Nacua shares his first impressions of Davante Adams

The Los Angeles Rams swapped starting receivers this offseason when they released Cooper Kupp and signed Davante Adams. However, Puka Nacua remains the team's top pass-catcher who now gets to work and practice with Adams ahead of the 2025 season.

The two have already started practicing together during the first two days of organized team activities. And after just a few games, Nacua is already amazed by what he's seen from Adams.

“He’s been super great since the day he walked in the facility, and we met when he signed out here. His energy has been very positive," Nacua told RG.org's DJ Siddiqi. "We’ve been out here in the first couple of days of OTAs to learn how to communicate with him and trying to get on the same language. Speaking in that coach [Sean] McVay offense has been fun, and he’s a great football player. He’s super smart as well.”

In Adams, the Rams are getting one of the best receivers of the past 20 years. He's posted at least 1,000 receiving yards six times in his career and scored 103 career touchdowns in 11 seasons. Nacua, meanwhile, has only played in two seasons but already has 2,476 receiving yards in 28 games.

This duo should be one of the best in the league with Matthew Stafford at quarterback. And with a full offseason together, the Rams should be poised to do some offensive damage with Adams and Nacua out wide.
