Rams preseason: See Chris Paul Jr.'s awesome 'Winnie the Pooh' necklace

Los Angeles Rams fifth-round rookie linebacker Chris Paul Jr. has an interesting nickname: Pooh. It all started when his parents called him "Pooh" during a youth football game — and the name stuck.

Now, it's a part of his lore as a football player and he's carried it with him from Ole Miss to the NFL on the Rams. And after L.A. beat the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1 of the 2025 preseason, Paul Jr. took questions from the locker room with a bedazzled "Winnie the Pooh" necklace. He reportedly got it custom made in Atlanta in 2024.

Paul Jr. had a solid debut for the Rams. He finished with four tackles and earned some praise from head coach Sean McVay for his performance after he missed some time earlier this summer with an injury.

The Rams have a lot of ambiguity at the inside linebacker position, which means a potential opportunity for Paul Jr. to carve out a solid role in his rookie season.
