Despite the fact that the Los Angeles Rams still have a large portion of their offense on rookie deals, the team is surprisingly set to have the NFL's most expensive unit in 2026.

Featuring MVP quarterback Matthew Stafford, the Rams reinvented their offense following the 2022 season and in the years since, the team has added young talents such as Puka Nacua, Steve Avila, and others to propel them back into the championship picture.

While Stafford carries a high price tag, it's the veterans the team has supplemented their young stars with that have driven up the bill, resulting in the team spending over $200 million on offense this year, according to Over The Cap.

Offensive team spending in 2026, via OTC:

Rams $201.1M
Buccaneers $185.0M
Cowboys $182.6M
Vikings $180.3M
Bengals $179.1M
Lions $174.1M
Bills $171.0M
Panthers $170.2M
Eagles $166.2M
Broncos $163.4M
Chiefs $162.7M
Seahawks $154.9M
Packers $153.4M
Chargers $151.5M
Titans $150.1M… pic.twitter.com/RnX5HcuVND

The Rams' five highest cap hits this season are all on offense, with Stafford ($48.2M), Davante Adams ($28M), Alaric Jackson ($25.4M), Kevin Dotson ($17.4M), and Kyren Williams ($12.9M) accounting for the majority of the spending. Coleman Shelton ($9.5M) and Colby Parkinson ($9.1M) help round out the major expenses.

Interestingly enough, Adams, Dotson, Shelton, and Parkinson join Avila and Nacua as part of a large portion of the roster that is set to hit free agency after the season. Considering Stafford already signed an extension that pays him top dollar, the Rams' offensive spending is likely to increase next season with all the extensions the team will have to negotiate.

This comes after the team already spent over $200 million on their secondary, while also adding Myles Garrett this offseason.
