I was not too blown away by his signing, but now I love the guy, Puts a crapload of effort in every game, love his mentality and throwing Kobe I think Solidified a spot as my favorite Sun this year!!

One of the best salary-to-production ratios in the league. That was a great signing.

He gives this team some toughness. Him and KT have done and will do a great job of making sure this team isn't known as the softest thing west of the mississippi.

What Raja did against Kobe fired the team up...and watching him become a big time scorer only goes to show that he will do whatever it takes to win.

That right there makes him a building block for the future.

Raja is 28 going on 29 and I think we have what we have in him. His one flaw is that he struggles(like Marion) sometimes with the handle when forced to drive to the hoop. Having Bell, Marion, House and JR with some of the same struggles(handle, driving the hoop) questions whether they all are sufficiently complementary in this system. In the post Nash future, Bell is probably a backup, and a damn good one at that, so the signing was a great success.

How many years did we sign Raja for? One year?

Raja is one smart dude (and tuff as nails). Loved the way he gave Cassell a taste of his own (foul) medicine when he bumped into him.

I enjoy listening to him at press conferences; he will make a great coach someday.

*Six* years, at a very reasonable salary. This deal is looking like a major bargain.

Wow, nice. I thought he did a great job on Cassell and maybe we should put him more on Cassell.

Raja Bell has brought some toughness to this team. Yeah, we still aren't the greatest at defense, but his toughness and edge has helped this team more than anything. Raja is becoming a go to guy in crunch time, and a great fit for this team.

just reading through this thread i love how raja's play has made everyone completely forget about some guy called joe. but i guess shooting 55.6% and averaging 22.2 points in the second round will do that. wonder if joe could have played this big? offensively maybe, but definitely not defensively.

in case you really have forgotten, i think his last name was johnson.

I've forgotten him? The only JJ I know of is James Jones so I'm not quite sure what you are trying to say?
