The Las Vegas Raiders defense will face a surging Houston Texans offense in Week 16. The Texans have rounded off six consecutive victories and are averaging 25.8 points per game throughout that stretch, including 36 and 40-point showings. Not ideal for a Raiders defense that lost 31-0 in Week 15.

We've identified three potential X-factors for the Raiders defense versus the Texans in Week 16.

Eric Stokes, CB

Texans superstar wide receiver Nico Collins has already surpassed 1,000 receiving yards this season. Collins has been red-hot lately, catching two touchdowns (with 85 yards) in last weekend's blowout victory over the Arizona Cardinals. Raiders cornerback Eric Stokes will draw the difficult assignment.

Devin White, LB

Veteran linebacker Devin White produced 16 tackles last week. A social media debate raged over White's effectiveness earlier this week, discussing the true value of tackle numbers. He'll need to play a downhill aggressive game against whoever the Texans line up at running back between Jahwar Jordan, Woody Marks, and Nick Chubb.

Maxx Crosby, EDGE

The Raiders need to make Texans quarterback CJ Stroud uncomfortable in the pocket. That responsibility mostly belongs to Maxx Crosby, Pete Carroll's superstar edge defender. If Crosby can rattle Stroud in the backfield, perhaps the Raiders defense can keep the Texans' offense at bay.
