The Las Vegas Raiders defense has a difficult matchup against the Dallas Cowboys offense on Monday Night Football in Week 11. The Cowboys are averaging the fourth-most points per game (29.2) in the league. Pete Carroll and Patrick Graham must craft a technically sound game plan.

We've identified three potential X-factors for the Raiders' defense against the Cowboys.

Lonnie Johnson Jr., DB

Lonnie Johnson played 36 snaps versus the Denver Broncos in his season debut. He immediately helped a Raiders defense hold the Broncos offense to just 10 points. Carroll and Graham will continue ramping up Johnson's workload against an explosive Cowboys offense.

Maxx Crosby, EDGE

Making Dak Prescott uncomfortable in the pocket is critical to defensive success. Superstar EDGE Maxx Crosby possesses the best opportunity to achieve that. Unsurprisingly, Crosby leads the Raiders in sacks with 5.0 quarterback takedowns. He'll attempt to add to his defensive totals against a quality QB on primetime.

Eric Stokes, CB

George Pickens and CeeDee Lamb are the Cowboys' go-to wide receivers. Raiders cornerback Eric Stokes may avoid Lamb when the explosive wideout lines up in the slot, but Pickens takes all of his snaps outside on the boundary. Stokes has enjoyed a strong campaign, and he'll be asked to do some heavy lifting Monday.
