The Las Vegas Raiders were defeated 24-17 by the Denver Broncos in Week 14. The loss moved the Raiders into the No. 1 overall spot in the current 2026 NFL draft order. Another bright spot in a wasted season was the performance of third-round rookie Caleb Rogers.

The Raiders are dealing with various injuries across the offensive line. Head coach Pete Carroll finally handed Rogers his debut last weekend, but there was a catch. Rogers played 17 snaps while practice squad call-up Atonio Mafi earned 31 reps as the Raiders went with a committee approach at right guard.

That wasn't the case in Sunday's loss to the Broncos. Rogers played all 51 offensive snaps, earning his first every-down start. The former Texas Tech standout took full advantage of the opportunity.

Caleb Rogers looked really good for the #Raiders yesterday. You can tell he is a former tackle. His footwork, hand placement, and processing is impressive in pass pro. Here are just a few plays. pic.twitter.com/6vj2oYLXs1

Pro Football Focus credited Rogers with allowing zero pressures on 41 pass-blocking snaps. That's an incredible stat for a Raiders offensive line that has leaked pressure all season long. Rogers earned an elite grade of 81.1 for his work in pass protection.

Rogers also wasn't whistled for any penalties. As a run blocker, he scored a stellar grade of 67.8. It took Coach Carroll several weeks to insert Rogers into the lineup, but the third-round rookie is looking like a long-term solution at guard for the rebuilding Raiders.
