Raiders reunite trio of stars from Georgia National Championship team

The Raiders are getting some dog in them these days. Or should I say Dawg. The first day of free agency saw the team make several big moves. Among them were re-signing CB Eric Stokes to a three-year deal and adding linebackers Nakobe Dean and Quay Walker, both on three-year deals.

What do these guys have in common? They were all teammates for the Georgia Bulldogs in 2019-20. And now they're reunited in Las Vegas.

Stokes entered the NFL Draft in 2021, while Dean and Walker remained. Joining them that season was Raiders star tight end Brock Bowers and the Bulldogs went on to win the National Championship.

So, while Dean and Walker reunite a trio of former Bulldog defenders, they also reunite a trio of former members of the Georgia National Championship team. That should make for some fun conversations.
