The Las Vegas Raiders have been busy doing some roster tinkering amid rookie minicamp. Wide receiver Jeff Foreman was already shown the two, and two other wide receivers are joining him.
The Raiders announced on Monday that, in order to make room for some new talent, they have cut Kristian Wilkerson and Tyreik McAllister.
Wilkerson was brought in by the Raiders during the Josh McDaniels era. He was able to survive the regime change last season. He played in three games and caught two passes for 18 yards.
It was going to be difficult for him to last on a third coaching staff and front office.

McAllister joined the team last season after a brief stint in the Canadian Football League. His speed earned him a small role on special teams. He even saw some time as a rusher, having two attempts for 11 yards.
The problem that McAllister and Wilkerson were facing this offseason was the fact that the Raiders were very thin at wide receiver last season, but neither was able to make much of an impact.
The team drafted three wide receivers and signed another one as an undrafted free agent, so some veterans are getting pushed out. Wilkerson could have a chance to land back with the New England Patriots, where McDaniels is the offensive coordinator again.
If McAllister can't land with another NFL team, it's possible a return to the CFL could be on the table. However, his speed could intrigue another team around the NFL.
