As many as 14 candidates held at least an initial virtual interview with the Raiders for their head coach opening. One-by-one the number of them still in contention for the job has dwindled. Saturday one of the candidates who had interviewed with the team dropped out of the running.

49ers OC Klay Kubiak has decided he is going to stay in San Francisco under Kyle Shanahan.

Kubiak has only held the position a OC in San Francisco for one season. Prior to that he spent one season as the pass game specialist with the 49ers.

Klay's brother Klint is the OC for the Seahawks who beat the 49ers in the Divisional round and are playing in the NFC Championship on Sunday. Klint is also a head coach candidate this cycle who has received considerable interest, including from the Raiders.
