The Las Vegas Raiders went through their ninth day of OTAs with star defensive end Maxx Crosby in attendance, but in a limited capacity. Crosby is working his way back from offseason knee surgery, which has kept him from practicing on the field multiple times this offseason.
Crosby warmed up but did not participate in the Raiders’ OTA practice on Wednesday.
Raiders defensive coordinator Rob Leonard shed light on the extent to which Crosby was involved in team activities after practice.
“You know Maxx [Crosby]. I mean, he's doing everything he can but practice," said Leonard. "So, meetings, attended walkthroughs, he's out there stretching. He's fully involved."
Crosby missed two games last season due to the knee injury. He had another noteworthy season in 2025, as he recorded 10 sacks, 28 tackles for loss, as well as the first interception of his career.
The 28-year-old will have one more opportunity to participate in practice during the Raiders’ final day of OTAs on Thursday. Crosby will continue to rehab his knee until the Raiders’ mandatory minicamp begins on June 9, which also marks the final portion of the team’s offseason workout program.
