Las Vegas Raiders safety Treydan Stukes is predicted to lead all rookies in a critical stat in 2026. The Raiders have high hopes for Stukes next season after selecting him with the No. 38 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft and will look to him to ward off the field against opposing passing attacks from Weeks 1-17.

According to ESPN’s Mike Clay, Stukes projects to tie for the league-lead among rookies with two interceptions next season, along with Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Mansoor Delane and Dallas Cowboys safety Caleb Downs -- both first round picks.

The Raiders added to their secondary in the open market this offseason, most notably by trading for cornerback Taron Johnson last winter. Las Vegas also selected four defensive backs in the draft this year, thoroughly addressing their defensive backfield for the upcoming season.

Stukes will get the chance to carve out a meaningful role in the Raiders’ defense next season. The Raiders only took home eight interceptions in 2025. Stukes will be primed with an opportunity to help Las Vegas take away more interceptions in 2026.
