I think we're going to see a much more aggressive Nashville team in game 2. We coasted a little too much in the second half for my liking. We need that first period for 60 if we want to make some noise this year. Goaltending was spectacular.

Today is a recovery day for the Coyotes, head coach Rick Tocchet said before complimenting team medical/conditioning personnel.

Michael Grabner's SHG in Game 1 vs. NSH was the 15th playoff SHG in franchise history while he became the 11th player in team history to score a goal in the postseason. It also was the 1st SHG by a #Yotes player since Lauri Korpikoski's at DET, 4/25/09
