Hey Everyone. Today is another check-in on old rivals/friends from the state of Arizona.

Arizona

Over/Under Win Total: 7.5

SP+ Ranking: +10.2 (30th in FBS 5th in the Big 12)

Head Coach: Brent Brennan 3rd Season

Offensive Coordinator: Seth Doege 2nd Season

Defensive Coordinator: Danny Gonzales 2nd Season

Projected Starting QB: Noah Fifita

Brent Brennan enters his 3rd season at Arizona after Jedd Fisch left in January of 2024. Brennan’s first year at Arizona was a disaster but he hired new coordinators for 2025 and was able to right the ship and massively turn things around in 2025 by increasing the Wildcats win total from 4 to 9.

The same coordinators return for 2026 as does starting QB Noah Fifita who is back for his 4th and final year as starting QB.

Arizona State

Over/Under Win Total: 6.5

SP+ Ranking: +6.4 (42nd in FBS 9th in the Big 12)

Head Coach: Kenny Dillingham 4th Season

Offensive Coordinator: Marcus Arroyo 3rd Season

Defensive Coordinator: Brian Ward 4th Season

Projected Starting QB: Cutter Boley

Kenny Dillgham enters his 4th season as Sun Devils head coach and returns both of this coordinators from the previous 2 years. After winning the conference and making the CFP in 2024 the Sun Devils weren’t as successful in 2025 as there record fell to 8-5 in part due to an injury to their starting QB Sam Leavitt

Leavitt transferred to LSU so Dillingham will turn things over to Kentucky transfer Cutter Boley. Boley didn’t light the world on fire at Kentucky but if anyone can get the most out of QB it has to be Dillingham.
