Justin Obikwu has had loan spells at Lincoln City and Grimsby Town [Rex Features]
QPR have signed Coventry City Under-21 forward Justin Obikwu on a permanent deal.
The 21-year-old has never played for the Sky Blues first team but made 21 appearances during a loan spell at Lincoln City earlier in the season, scoring on three occasions.
Obikwu was also loaned to Grimsby Town last campaign where he played 38 times and scored 10 goals.
He has been capped four times for Trinidad and Tobago in World Cup qualifiers and international friendlies.
"I'm delighted," Obikwu told the club. "I'm very happy and very excited to get started.
"It's a new chapter in the journey, when I heard the name QPR my ears sprung up.
"I think everything that's been described to me, from the staff to the fans, the stadium and the training ground, everything about it aligns with my development and where I want to be."
