WEST LAFAYETTE — Purdue football's quest to improve its offensive line got a jolt late Friday night.

Bradyn Joiner announced he's committing to the Boilermakers out of the transfer portal.

The redshirt sophomore comes to West Lafayette after starting at left guard for Auburn last season.

After redshirting in 2023, Joiner cracked the starting lineup on Oct. 26 at Kentucky and became a mainstay, helping the Tigers win three of the next four games. Joiner was named to the SEC's All-Freshman Team after the season.

The 6-foot-2, 328-pound Joiner was a standout at Auburn High School prior to going to Auburn University. As a high school prospect, 247Sports rated Joiner as a three-star recruit ranked No. 514 nationally in the 2023 class.
