Likely to spend the season as depth, but Goellner is an intriguing long term prospect who might be able to sneak in some experience on the edge after redshirting his first season with Purdue.

Thoughts​


Sam Goellner is an athlete who excelled more in basketball than football in high school, but why his lack of real size on the basketball court made him too much of a tweener on the hard wood, his measurables are dynamic for a guy vying to be a threat on the defensive line. Goellner is likely to need a bit more season than just one year at Purdue, but he’ll be an intriguing name to keep a look out for in the future as Purdue tries to rebuild both trenches.
