Purdue has won three games over the last three days. They’ve taken down Northwestern, Nebraska, and UCLA. Michigan has won two games over the last two days. They’ve taken down Ohio State and Wisconsin. Now, the two meet in the Big Ten Tournament Championship game. Michigan of course lost just one game during the Big Ten season. Purdue lost six times. These two teams met once in the regular season, at Mackey, where Purdue lost 91-80. There was about a six minute period where Purdue fell apart and Michigan took over. For the remaining 34 minutes the game was almost right on. A six minute lapse is a big big lapse against such a solid team. Michigan didn’t play their best game yesterday against Wisconsin but when it came down to crunch time Lendeborg hit the game winner to take down the Badgers. Michigan has deadly players are all the court and will be incredibly tough to beat. If you’ve got the chance to head to Chicago this team will need all the fan support they can get.
