So I shouldn’t have taken out a second mortgage to bet on him becoming MVP?

Petzing opened up passing game since Colts were missing top 2 defensive backs, receivers got separation those were relatively easy completions

But against blitz pressure, Brissett looked like crap throwing the ball at receivers feet

Green Bay watched the film, if Brissett starts it won’t be pretty

When pressured, his stats were awful today and in career

He is a decent pocket passer when not pressured

Expect Green Bay to come with heat in their defacto home game at State Farm

Just Sayin…there’s a reason he is 19-35 as a starter
I don't think there is a single person saying he is a long term solution.

The only argument is, is he better than Kyler for the rest of this season. In my opinion he likley is - however since getting the best pick possible is also in the teams best interest maybe continuing to play Kyler gets us further to that goal.

I simply do not believe this is true.

Almost every passing play has medium and long routes included in it. It is up to the QB to choose where to throw the ball - Brisett was just more willing to throw deeper - it was not a change in playcalling for the most part.

We are top 10 in takeaways
Not in TO differential, which is more important. We are 14th with a big fat zero for differential. We have 7 total turnovers and 7 forced turnovers in 6 games. Jacksonville is #1 with a +8 differential with 6 turnovers and 14 forced turnovers in 6 games. That is why they are 4-2 with Trevor Lawrence having a Kyler like year.

Crazier stat
AZ 2-4 with a +3 point differential
Jacksonville 4-2 with a +19 point differential
Indy 5-1 with a +78 point differential

Which team is Jacksonville appear closer to? Turnovers matter!

He was bad against the blitz but threw for 320 yards, 2tds, completed 6 passes over 20 yards to 5 different receivers. Better than Kyler has done in the last 3 years. Give the guy his dues.
I don’t believe Kyler does too well against pressure if I remember correctly.

Buddy, Petizing didn't open up anything that wasn't already open.

Brissett throws the ball downfield when he has time but over his career he has been awful when other teams send extra rushers, he throws the ball at receivers feet

Indy had great success when they brought heat but with 2 starters out in secondary they didn’t risk it much

Do some research people

When blitzed during the Arizona Cardinals' October 12, 2025, game against the Indianapolis Colts, quarterback Jacoby Brissett struggled, completing just 6 of 20 passes for 91 yards with two sacks

Sure, he may have been awful, but Kyler has been worse. That’s the whole point.

We are talking about yesterday’s game. Kyler hasn’t had a game like that in a long time. Oh and KM is the starter and Brissett is the back up. First time this season the offense looked good.

Does he throw the ball blindly over his shoulder for an intentional grounding call? Does he just sit down and take the sack? If nothing is there Brissett gets rid of it without taking a grounding penalty or sack. Something KM still can’t do.

SFO is 4-2 with a negative three point differential. Philly has a -1 point differential.
SF it's using Duct Tape to keep their players together. Shanahan is a GD wizard to have them at 4-2! Philly is so Jekyll and Hyde the last few weeks.

My point was Jacksonville is 4-2 and not 2-4 because is their TO differential. Jacksonville is the AZ is the AFC!
