The Los Angeles Rams and their fans are holding their breath right now as they wait on news about star wide receiver Puka Nacua.
Nacua left practice on Tuesday with an undisclosed injury and did not return later in the day. Rams head coach Sean McVay has not yet disclosed details of Nacua’s injury.
Nacua is already facing a potential suspension at the start of the season, a storyline that was mentioned again by ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Tuesday, as he reported that the NFL is looking into his offseason behavior.
Nacua was accused of biting a female last year, and he also made an antisemitic gesture on a livestream. The NFL has not ruled on either incident, and speculation is that he could miss at least one game. Nacua did go to rehab earlier this year.
So the Rams and their fans can only wait and see if an injury keeps him out or a possible suspension that has yet to be confirmed or announced by the NFL.
