Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua went through a whirlwind of an offseason following the team’s playoff exit, with twists and turns throughout.

Nacua allegedly bit a woman and, according to a lawsuit, yelled an antisemtic remark, which came just weeks after he was practing a dance with antisemitic undertones.

The incident with the woman happneed on New Years Eve, during which he was allegedly intoxicated.

His action got to the point where the star receiver checked himself into a care facility to get help.

The 25-year-old is entering the last year of his rookie deal, with a big extension in the works with another elite season, but he is now left hoping to repair the trust with the team and public.

During his return to the Rams facility, Nacua addressed his entire journey thus far over the past seveal months.

“Some of the things I feel like I’ve learned is it’s OK to ask for support and to recognize that the platform that I have, being a professional football player,” Nacua said.

“And trying to use that for the betterment of myself and for those around me, and the people that have supported me.”

Will Nacua sign an extension with the Rams?

After as his contract goes, Nacua is seemingly intent on remaining with the organization, though his focus remains on working to improve himself and put himself in the best possible space to succeed in Los Angeles.

“It’s about continuing on the routine and habits I’ve established for myself this offseason,” Nacua said.

“The consistency, the physicality that I play the game of football with is something I pride myself on. I don’t see that changing anytime soon. It’s just understanding and developing as a wide receiver.

“I couldn’t imagine myself playing anywhere else.”

Nacua, as long as his changes are meaningful and stay the course, should get paid a handsome amount, either this offseason or next by the Rams, who have stuck their player.
