Samson Nacua, the brother of Los Angeles Rams star wide receiver Puka Nacua, is in a bit of hot water.
A video went viral on Sunday of the 27-year-old receiver, who plays for the Michigan Panthers in the United Football League, getting in a fan’s face and slapping him after a game over the weekend.
The video also shows Nacua’s teammate, cornerback Adonis Alexander, pointing and laughing at the fan before walking off the field. The fan didn’t appear to be injured from the strike.
And while the confrontation could have been much worse, things aren’t looking great for Nacua as the UFL announced on Monday it was investigating the incident. He’s likely looking at a sizable fine plus a suspension.
“The UFL is aware of the incident that took place last evening at the conclusion of the Michigan Panthers vs. St. Louis Battlehawks game in St. Louis. League officials are currently investigating the matter,” the UFL said in a statement.
As the league deliberates what kind of punishment is heading Nacua’s way, fans on social media made it clear where they stand on the matter.

“Wild behavior. This could end really badly for him,” one fan wrote.
“Looks like Samson Nacua will no longer be competing in the UFL. His football days might be done.
,” another remarked.
“Gone. Suspended and kicked out of the league, and will be sued for assault,” exclaimed one user.
“Should be criminal charges,” another fan declared.
“Yeah he ain’t ever going to the league lmao,” one user quipped.
Nacua ranks third on the Panthers in receptions (seven) and yards (117), and he’s tied for the team lead with one touchdown.
He played collegiately at Utah from 2016 to 2020 before transferring to BYU in 2021 to play with Puka. After going undrafted, Nacua spent some time with Indianapolis Colts (2023) and New Orleans Saints (2024) but has never played in an NFL game.
