Babar Azam was dismissed on a golden duck by Mohammad Ali in the PSL final on Sunday evening between Hyderabad Kingsmen and Peshawar Zalmi.
Nothing summed up Zalmi's evening quite like the very first over. Ali steamed in and removed both openers before the scoreboard had even had a chance to breathe.
A full, angled delivery came in sharply, and Babar attempted a cover drive. He edged, and the keeper Usman Khan did the rest.
Just like that, the biggest name in the Zalmi lineup was trudging back to the dressing room having contributed nothing.

Zalmi had a mountain to chase after Babar's dismissal
Hunain Shah arrived from the other end and kept the pressure.
In the fourth over, he got one to nick the outside edge of Kusal Mendis, who could only nick behind for nine.
Three wickets down and just 33 on the board. The powerplay's final over brought even more misery. Michael Bracewell faced just five deliveries before Akif Javed removed him nad Zalmi were reeling at 53/4.
With four wickets gone and 77 still needed, Aaron Hardie and Abdul Samad found themselves at the crease with a mountain to climb.
Both the batsmen played the innings of their lives to steer Zalmi out of the rut. Hardie brought up his half-century in 35 balls in the 13th over. Whereas Samad played a perfect foil at 48 from 34 balls.
