With this summer's FIFA World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico now less than a week away, preparation for the tournament is ramping up, and with it, there has been plenty of action for PSG stars.

On Saturday, a number of players from Luis Enrique's side took to the field in warm up games ahead of the tournament starting next Thursday. Let's have a look at how things went, individually and collectively.

To begin, Nuno Mendes, Vitinha, Joao Neves and Goncalo Ramos' Portugal side were coming up against Chile - who have not qualified for the finals for a third consecutive time - in the Portuguese capital of Lisbon, for a 19:45 CET kick off.

As for the PSG men themselves, well, understandably due to the Champions League final, they were all given the day off. We can probably expect them to feature in Portugal's final warm up game, a friendly against Nigeria on Wednesday at 2`1:45 CET. The English Arsenal players in the Champions League final joined the camp on Saturday night, so we can probably assume similar in this case too.

Later on in the day, Marquinhos' Brazil side were also in action, as they faced Egypt - who will be at the World Cup - in Cleveland, Ohio. After taking an early lead, they were soon pegged back, after a mishit backpass from PSG's captain was intercepted, and the North Africans took advantage by slotting home.

At half time, the defender was taken off, alongside a number of other players. Attention for the five time World Champions now turns to their opening World Cup game against Achraf Hakimi's Morocco on Sunday the 14th at 00:00 CET.

The other day, Kang-in Lee played 27 minutes for South Korea in their 1-0 win over El Salvador. They will now turn their attention to the World Cup, as they play Czechia in the second game of the tournament on Friday morning at 04:00 CET.

Meanwhile, just as an aside, Khvicha Kvararskhelia was in action for Georgia as they faced Bahrain in a friendly. The PSG man played the whole 90 minutes, and scored a penalty 13 minutes from time in a 2-0 win. As Georgia have not qualified for the World Cup, Kvaratskhelia will now get a two month rest and will be ready for the start of the 26/27 season with PSG. Great news for the club.
