Paris Saint-Germain’s transfer window has taken its time to finally get going, but a string of major signings are now beginning to queue up to arrive at Parc des Princes to offer Luis Enrique’s side much-needed reinforcements.

Now the aim in Paris is to complete the hat-trick. It’s the greatest challenge yet. Those on the fringes for the last two years are seeking first-team football at other clubs. Kang-In Lee and Gonçalo Ramos are two valuable squad men who have departed for fresh challenges; youngster Ibrahim Mbaye has been linked with a move for months, yet undoubtedly the greatest concern is the potential of Bradley Barcola leaving for Liverpool.

While the France international can cut a frustrating figure in the final third of the park due to the erratic nature of finishing and decision-making, his value is undoubted and reflected in PSG pushing for a record transfer fee of €150 million.

In response, Les Parisiens have signed Maghnes Akliouche from AS Monaco, but arguably a more intriguing signing might be just around the corner in the form of Ajax winger Mika Godts.
