Pro wrestling event set for Alliance's America 250 party

Among the many different types of activities in Alliance celebrating America’s 250th birthday will be a brand new type of family entertainment at Silver Park.

Powerslam Pro Wrestling will offer live, family-friendly matches in a ring “up top” at Field No. 2 in the park. The event will run 6 to 8 p.m. during the Fourth of July festivities.

Admission is free and special concessions and bleacher seating will be available. Spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, as a large crowd is expected.

Powerslam Pro Wrestling is an Ohio-based promotion that has been presenting live events for more than six years. The show combines athletic competition, colorful characters and interactive storytelling to create unforgettable entertainment for audiences of all ages. There is no excessive violence, language or adult content in a Powerslam show.

Wrestlers will be available after the show for photos, autographs and fan interaction. This adds extra value for families and increases audience engagement.
