I saw his show last night at the Glendale Arena.
Wow, what a great show. Whether you like that genre of music or not. He is one of the most dynamic performers out there. Not to mention being being one of the most prolific song writers of this generation.
I can't say enough about his band either. Monster players across the board.
They gave a copy of his new CD to everyone that attended. How cool is that?

I have tickets to see him here in NJ in July. Looking forward to it! I've seen him before - once in an arena and again in a small club in D.C. Both times he smoked! Glad to hear he's still got it and that his band is still tight!

I really don't. Everyone I know who wanted to go either got MSG or CAA tix already. I have an extra pair that I bought for July 16th on eBay as I type this. They're uppers, but pretty good uppers, and so far have only drawn one bid at face value plus TM fees. There are a lot of auctions for MSG and CAA tickets. Lowers seem to be the ones drawing bids now, so if your Nassau tix are lowers, you may wanna try eBay.

Yeah, lowers, row 4.

I've never sold on Ebay, and I don't have the tickets yet (they haven't come, only bought them on Saturday) but as soon as I do I'll give it a go. Hey, at least you've recouped! That's all I want.

Thanks!

I don't have my tickets yet either, but TM says they have been printed and mailed, so it shouldn't be too long.

I've only sold tickets on eBay, and only 2 or 3 times, but I had a solid buyers rating when I went to do my first sale, so I guess that helps even as a seller. You shouldn't have any trouble selling those lowers on eBay from what I've seen so far. You'll probably make back more than your cost too! Good luck!

I apologize for bumping-up this old thread, however, it's worth doing so....

I've been listening to a lot of Prince's newest album "Musicology" and he still has it....

Recently O and I were discussing music and he made some excellent points when the subject of Prince came up and I certainly agreed.... Prince...didnt matter if he was Prince, the symbol (Artist Formerly Known As), and all the back-up bands he's had over the years...he's still a genius and markets/promotes himself better than most performers......

I've enjoyed his music since I first heard his debut album "For You" and his second album "Prince" (in which on both he played all the instruments on) and then who could forget "Controversy", "1999", "Purple Rain", "Dirty Mind", "Graffiti Bridge"..etc.....

My absolute favorite Prince song is "Money Don't Matter 2 Night", but I've never found any weaknesses in his catalogue whatsoever.....

Also... think of all the females he's helped successfully launch their careers... such as Lisa/Wendy, Sheila E (wow), Apollonia (WOW), and his collaborations with Sheena Easton and Susanna Hoffs (WOWZER WOWZER), and there's been a few others as well...

Besides that though...he's lasted so long and has done an excellent job... Each of his releases still sound fresh today and he's always remained true to his vast musical roots on each and every album and in the process is an innovator.....Just cannot wait to hear what his next album will be like, because "Musicology" still proves how very capable/modern he is.....
