Penn State football will have a completely overhauled roster to get to know in 2026 under new head coach Matt Campbell. Following one of the most active offseasons in recent memory for Penn State with a flurry of activity in the transfer portal, fans will have a lot of catching up to do in getting to know this year's Penn State roster. Fortunately, not every face will be brand new to fans. Regardless, we will be here to give you a fresh overview of every player on the roster for the 2026 season with a series of player profiles.
From all of the returning players, a long list of new faces from the transfer portal, and incoming recruits from the Class of 2026, we will have you covered with this year's player profiles for the Penn State roster. Here is a quick look at running back Quinton Martin Jr. for the 2026 season.
Class of 2024: Consensus 4-star, No. 6 ranked running back, per 247Sports
Penn State secured a commitment from Quinton Martin Jr. over a handful of Big Ten rivals, such as Ohio State and Michigan.
Although Martin Jr. was a highly-touted prospect, he didn’t see the field much during his first two seasons. He has rushed 33 times for 135 yards so far in his career.
Buried behind Kaytron Allen and Nicholas Singleton, Martin Jr. had to sit back and wait his turn. Now, the four-star recruit will get every opportunity to earn the starting job. He ended last season with a 100-yard performance in the Pinstripe Bowl and will look to bring that momentum into this season.
Martin Jr. played basketball in high school in addition to being a four-star football recruit.
