The FSU Seminoles have 13 commitments in their 2027 recruiting class, and they are hoping to add a few more in July with several top targets set to make their commitment. Up first is four-star interior offensive lineman DaJohn Yarborough, who is announcing on Saturday.
Yarborough is from Chandler, Arizona, and is deciding between the Seminoles, Washington Huskies, Cal Golden Bears, and Mississippi State Bulldogs. The 6-foot-5, 240-pounder officially visited all four schools in May and June, and no clear favorite has emerged.
This is a critical recruitment for FSU to win. They do not currently have an offensive lineman committed, and Yarborough was the only one they hosted on an official visit over the summer. While they will surely expand their board, he is the second-highest-ranked uncommitted interior offensive line prospect and is their best shot at landing a blue-chip offensive lineman this cycle.

They hosted him on his first visit on March 13, and he returned to Tallahassee on June 12 for his official visit. He has been near the top of their offensive line board from the start as Herb Hand has prioritized him.
My Pick: California Golden Bears
Florida State has prioritized Yarborough for quite some time, but it does not appear it will be enough to land him. Washington and Cal appear to have the momentum as this recruitment comes to a close, with me favoring the Golden Bears.
