Apr. 10—TRINITY — Koby Suggs hit a walk-off hit to give West Morgan a big 5-4 area win over Good Hope on Thursday.
The game was tied 4-4 in the bottom of the eighth inning when Suggs doubled, driving in the game-winning run.
Cole Thorn added a hit and an RBI, and Cullen Kirby had two hits. Titan Partlow got the win on the mound, allowing seven hits and four runs with nine strikeouts.
West Morgan will be back in action on Friday at Vinemont.

Hartselle 9, Decatur 0: Asher Doepel, Cruise Baker and Sam Gillette all tripled for the Tigers as Hartselle clinched the area series.
Doepel had two hits, an RBI and scored three runs, while Gillette had two hits and two RBIs and Baker had an RBI. Owen Murphree had two hits for Decatur.
