Mar. 27—GULF SHORES — Hatsumi Peterson hit a grand slam and Hartselle scored 12 second-inning runs as the Tigers rolled over Homewood on Wednesday in a tournament at Gulf Shores.

KJ Prater had three hits, an RBI and scored two runs, while Kaelin Perdue added two hits and three RBIs.



Lawrence County 4, Bellbrook 1: Bella Cross picked up the pitching win for Lawrence County, allowing two hits and a run with seven strikeouts.

Ava Templeton added two hits and two RBIs.



Athens 7, Columbia-Central 5: Jaicey Harty hit a three-RBI triple to help lead Athens to a win on Wednesday.

Caitlyn Tedford added two hits, including a triple, and an RBI.



Lawrence County 6, Homewood 0: McKinley McCaghren pitched a shutout win on Wednesday, allowing five hits with seven strikeouts.

Reagan Smith added a hit and two RBIs.



Hartselle 12, Asheville 0: Morgan Osborn tripled and finished with three hits, three RBIs and three runs scored in a win.

Zoe Hitt added two hits and an RBI, while Hatsumi Peterson added a two-RBI triple.



Curry 6, Ardmore 3: AG King and Addison Mikel each had two hits and an RBI to lead Ardmore.



Yorkville 6, Ardmore 4: Brenley Dempsey led Ardmore with a hit and an RBI.



McAdory 8, Decatur Heritage 1: Bri Tyson led Decatur Heritage with two hits.



Albertville 6, Lindsay Lane 4: Lily Jackson had two hits and Hannah Pepper hit a two-run home run.
