Domantas Sabonis has been one of the best centers in the NBA since being traded to the Sacramento Kings, but has experienced some injury trouble and inconsistency over the past two seasons.

Sabonis appeared in just 19 games last season before suffering a torn meniscus, setting off the unfortunate cycle of injuries for the Kings.

In a small sample size, Sabonis did post a slight decrease in production, averaging his lowest points and rebounds per game since the 2019-2020 season.

However, Sabonis' offensive and rebounding abilities still make him an intriguing trade target for teams looking to improve on the interior.

On Thursday, NBA insider Sean Wright named the Milwaukee Bucks as a potential suitor for the 3-time All Star.

"Milwaukee has reportedly always held the big man in high regards, and new coach Taylor Jenkins is “in love” with the potential fit next to his young guards," Wright wrote via X.

After trading Giannis Antetokounmpo in a blockbuster move prior to the draft, Milwaukee has the cap space to take on Sabonis' contract.

Sabonis would be a lifeline for the Bucks' young backcourt, while picking up the slack in the areas that current Milwaukee big man Myles Turner struggles with.

In early June, NBA Reporter Jake Fischer confirmed that the longtime Kings big man will likely be on the block, as Sacramento looks to free up some cap space and capitalize on rookie big man Maxime Raynaud's success.

Raynaud's strong debut season is a big reason the Kings may look to move off their four-year starter.

Handing the reigns to Raynaud would allow the second-rounder to grow into his larger role, while also opening up cap space.

Raynaud was recently named to the All-Rookie Second Team, nearly sneaking onto the first.

The No. 42 overall pick was the lone second round pick represented on either team, outplaying his original standing.

Raynaud averaged 12.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game, recording a rookie-class best 18 double-doubles.

The 7-foot-1 Stanford product really came into his own after the All-Star Break, earning Rookie of the Month honors in March.

Raynaud definitely has earned consideration to be the full-time starter going forward.
