Today, the Portland Thorns announced that USWNT U-23 forward Caiya Hanks has been removed from the season-ending injury list. She will be available for selection for Saturday’s home match vs Orlando Pride.

After suffering an ACL injury on June 15, 2025 vs Washington Spirit at Providence Park, the winger is set to make her return, after 14 months.

Hanks earned 11 appearances (seven starts), recording three goal contributions.

Internationally, she earned a callup for the U-23 in March of 2025, training with the USWNT. In June 2025 she played two friendlies vs Germany, including earning a penalty kick.
