The Pittsburgh Pirates started their Saturday in style.
They were game one doubleheader winners over the Cleveland Guardians at Progressive Field by a comfortable 7-1 margin.
Their night might get long, though.
They were supposed to start game two at 7:10 p.m. ET, but it won't be starting on time.
Pirates-Guardians weather update for rain delay
The Pirates announced about an hour before first pitch that the second game would begin in a rain delay:
These teams were playing a doubleheader on Saturday because air quality issues had forced a postponement on Friday.
The Saturday issue is simply inclement weather, though.
The highest chance of precipitation the whole evening in Cleveland was 7 p.m., so they'll have to wait it out, with lightning also expected.
The storm is supposed to pass, though, and it looks like these teams will be able to play eventually.
