PITTSBURGH, Pa. (WKBN) – Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes was named to the National League All-Star team on Saturday night.
It marks the third consecutive trip to the Midsummer Classic for the Pittsburgh ace. He started in the game the previous two seasons.
This season, the right-hander has posted a record of 6-8 with a 3.62 ERA. In 97 innings, he has piled up 119 strikeouts for the Pirates.
The 2026 Major League Baseball All-Star game will take place on Tuesday, July 14, at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.
The game will be televised locally on FOX Youngstown at 8 p.m.
