The Eagles have jumped into the off-season after a stunning loss to the 49ers in the wild-card round of the NFC playoffs. Roster building is always key in retooling, and the Birds have taken steps to ensure a strong practice squad. Over the past three days, the Eagles have signed 12 players to reserve/future deals. The players who are eligible for these contracts did not end the season on an active roster.

One big name that was just added was defensive back Andre Sam.

Sam is among three defensive backs signed to future deals, joining Tariq Castro-Fields and Brandon Johnson.
