PFL Washington went down last night (Sat., July 25, 2026) inside CareFirst Arena in Washington, D.C.. In the revamped main event of the evening, Thad Jean defeated Ernesto Rodriguez via third-round technical knockout (TKO) to win the vacant Welterweight title. With the win, Jean — who survived an second-round knockdwon by Rodriguez — can likely look ahead to a potential re-booking of his fight against Shamil Gusaev, who he was originally slated to face on this card before he withdrew.
In the co-main event of the evening Rafael Xavier secured a first-round buzzer-beating knockout win over former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) contender, Tyson Pedro, who suffered his third straight defeat since 2024.
