Pro Football Focus is gearing up for college football season, and their list of the 50 best players to watch has been released.

You may recognize three of the names that appear on the list.

Of course you’ll know the household names like Jeremiah Smith, Ahmad Hardy, and Dante Moore, but you’ll also find Sam Leavitt, Jordan Seaton, and TreyDez Green on the list.

Leavitt, a prime transfer quarterback from Arizona State, is ranked 41st on the draft site’s list. Seaton, another highly touted transfer, comes in at 43, and Green, one of LSU’s top returning receivers from a year ago at the tight end spot, is ranked 49.

Leavitt struggled much of the year last season dealing with injuries, but is still valued as one of the top quarterbacks. PFF says, “while last season was a disappointing one by his standards, Leavitt is as physically gifted as any quarterback in the country”. Leavitt will be well-equipped with strong talent at wide receiver and arguably the best offensive mind in the country in Lane Kiffin and Charlie Weis Jr.

#LSU signed the No. 1 overall transfer in the portal this offseason: Sam Leavitt.

Lane Kiffin’s newest weapon has lived in the weight room while rehabbing in Baton Rouge – adding 11 pounds to his frame.

Seaton was one of the top offensive linemen in college football in 2025, leading the Big 12 in pass pro. PFF said that the Colorado transfer “is arguably the best pass protector in college football”. LSU will need him to continue those elite blocking skills if they want to make the College Football Playoff for the first time since the greatest season in college football history in 2019.

Green is nothing short of a dangerous mismatch. His build at tight end is an anomaly, and he certainly uses that to his advantage, bringing in seven touchdowns a year ago. “His seven touchdown receptions and 12 contested catches both ranked second among all tight ends in 2025.”

The LSU offense will be a dangerous one in 2026, led by these three top talents. Mix that group with a strong returning core on defense and the Tigers look ready to make some noise in the SEC and beyond.
