The only thing I see are right there is the Packers going to the NFC Championship. I think they are for real.

How can we not after seeing the thumping they gave us?

I wish I would have put money on them in Vegas. I was looking for a team.

I would have placed my money on the over on Tampa at 5.5 games, but couldn't get to the sportsbook on time. The Fitz reception yard winner at 5/1 odds was tempting as well.

Aside from the 10 wins for the Cowboys, I really don't see where he's wildly off-base...

I don't think the Bears make the playoffs let alone the SB. I am sorry to be a little bitter that the Bears add one QB and are the NFC favorites, and yet we come back with our entire squad in tact and don't make them this year in his eyes.

I am not a believer in da Bears, but hey they are a bigger market, and more people will read King's article if he pats them on the head properly.

The Giants running away with the NFC East is pure homerism, that is a joke.

The Patriots going 13-3....against east coast leg humping. 13-3 ? Not with that defense.

He must like the Ravens as much as he likes the Cardinals, because 9-7 is a slap in the face of that team. The Steelers are going to have thier hands full with the Ravens, and so will every other team that plays them.

Not to mention the Panthers are going to have to fight to not see double digit losses, same goes for the Seahawks.

Finally, I have a hard time seeing how the Colts and Texans beat out the Titans for the division. What happened to the Titans to have them slip so much ? Albert Haynesworth leaving ? Seriously, what a joke.

To be truthful, I can see why he would pick us (Cardinals) at 9-7. There is merit to that, and heck I expect a lot of sports writers to call us a fluke. That makes some logical sense. But, there rest of this is ridiculous. Pure homerism, hype drive, big market leg humping.

As I said, it is like he is thinking about these teams if it was 4 years ago.

I agree with the Packers, and Patriots (just not 13-3).

Bears...well above says it all.

I like the Pack, and I like their QB.

That said, I'm not convinced they'll win their division. And getting all excited over preseason wins isn't really a good idea.

Cutler would have been a good move had they gave him a receiving core. Their best target is Greg Olsen. Also, they have the worst starting WR in the league in Hester. Out of position by far. And their defense is one year older. Another intangible is Cutler's immaturity. He can become pissy if things don't go his way.

not that I like peter king or agree with him, but anything can happen in the NFL. The cards were 8-8 or 9-7 can't remember, played 2 playoff games at home, and made it to the SB. The parity is too close to call these days. I honestly don't think that the bears will make the SB, but I wouldn't be shocked if it happened.

cowboys 10-6 wrong...i'd have to agree. I see 11-5.

Why is every one still on Dallas's jock? I see them going 8-8.

I wouldn't say everyone is. They could go 8-8, but in reality the difference between 8-8 and 10-6 is very small. there are so many close games out there to be had. dallas' biggest weakness last year was special teams which directly lost them a few games and could have costed them more. they led the league in sacks, but were among the bottom third in takeaways. They can be a solid team if they run the ball more, create more turnovers on D, and improve special teams play/field position.

cowboys forget it

they have a horrible head coach with no control because of their owner, they have a QB who is known to choke and they have NO Wrs to speak of. Roy Williams is a joke...won't finish routes and is a body catcher...enough said already. And as far as the NFC Central...forget about Favre, with a line like they have and the backs they have with a solid defense...the Vikings look very dangerous.

roy williams actually has great hands. his biggest weakness might be crisp route running, but the guy has size and speed that compares to other #1 WR's.

the cowboys problems aren't through the air. It is on the ground. They need to run the ball more to keep the turnovers down. the real jones to fear isn't jerry...it's felix...he is a beast....the best playmaker on that team. look for a breakout year if he stays healthy. the guy averaged 8.9 yards a carry last year with 29 carries.

I think his biggest weakness may be mental toughness.
maybe. there is no way to measure a man's mind.....unless you are a genius. you could say the whole cowboys team lacks mental toughness if they can't win a playoff game. but if the cards can breakout like they did last year it certainly gives hope to anyone else who has potential no?

I like roy....he will be a good WR for dallas. he just needs to get 1K per year and that will be good for dallas. I think with romo at QB that is very possible when you look at all of the other weapons on that offense.
