Man, I luv' this time of the year! The draft is just around the corner. Like the rest of you I have the same hopes & preferences/ worries & fears. BUT...the great thing now is having confidence that the guys calling the shots have a plan. They've done their due dilligence and are ready to make solid choices.

So, while the NFL media machine and the NFL National fan-base have already conceded the division to the 49'ers because we're Warner-Dansby-Rolle-less, I say, not so fast! No one can predict how a season will go. There's just too many variables. All you can really do is position yourself for success.

I'm remembering last years' game w/the Packers now. Our offense was unstoppable. Unfortunately, so was theirs. We were on the ropes. We all knew it. And then...suddenly...unexpectedly...VICTORY! Of all my Cardinal moments (42+years of 'em) that ranks up there w/the sweetest.

So, while others are over-looking us this year, I say watch & see... GO CARDS!!

Though my personal hopes are that we build a team that will never again cause us to go through the agonies we all suffered before we won that Packer game.

You got that right! The whole game for me was: We WON! We LOST! We WON! We LOST! OMG we've LOS--WON!
