Professional bull riding is coming to Oklahoma City this weekend.

The Wildcatter Days event marks the start of the PBR team series, where 10 teams from across the country compete for the championship. The Oklahoma Wildcatters are the most recent addition to the tournament, founded in 2024 with golfer Talor ***** as the majority owner.

Two-time PBR world champion J.B. Mauney was named the Wildcatters’ head coach. Mauney, the sport’s first $7 million dollar rider and now second in all-time earnings, retired in 2023 after a neck injury.

In addition to the Wildcatters, the New York Mavericks joined the series in the 2024 expansion.

Heading into their second season, the Wildcatters and the Mavericks will kick off the 2025 team events at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City.

Here are some riders to look out for this weekend:

Cássio Dias, Kansas City Outlaws​


The 2024 PBR World Champion is back from a femur injury, riding for the Kansas City Outlaws. The 23-year-old Brazilian also earned the Rookie of the Year title last year. He broke his at the 2025 Unleash The Beast season-opener in Tucson, Arizona. Dias was unable to compete in his title-defending season, but is ready for a return in the team events.

José Vitor Leme, Austin Gamblers​


The current world champion, riding for the defending team champions. The 2025 championship marked the 28-year-old's third, following wins in 2020 and 2021. Leme holds the record for the highest-scored ride in PBR history with 98.75 points on the bull Woopaa. In addition to his championships, Leme was named PBR Team Series Regular-Season MVP for two consecutive years in 2022 and 2023. He is one of just three riders in the sport's history with three or more world championships.

Sage Kimzey, Austin Gamblers​


Oklahoma native Sage Kimzey will represent the team champions Austin Gamblers for the first time this year after spending the last season with runner-ups Carolina Cowboys. Before joining PBR in 2023 after a decade with the The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), where he won seven championships and the 2014 Rookie of the Year title.

Brady Fielder, Texas Rattlers​


Brady Fielder became the first Australian to carry the No. 1 title since Troy Dunn in 1997, he is now ranked No. 4. Last season, he earned the Great 8 Award, given to the rider with the highest riding percentage over the course of the PBR Teams season. The 25-year-old tied with world champion Leme for the Brent Thurman/Lane Frost Award presented to the rider with the highest-scored ride within the PBR World Finals.

Three-day event at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City. All three days will be streamed on the PBR App, Ridepass, Facebook and YouTube.
